Willow art at Harwick Hall County Park

Auckland Castle at Bishop Auckland, provides the stunning backdrop for these intricate sculptures.

One is made mainly of Birch, the other Hazel, but both are hung with leaves cut out of copper.

The inspiration for these sculptures came from the Fibonacci series of numbers which describes many natural growth forms including fern fronds.

We think they are quite beautiful and compliment the setting.

Our willow sculptures typically depict characters from children’s books or films such as The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and Brum car TV series. Alternatively we recreate themes from local history or nature such as a coal miner or woodland birds.
